These are some shots of the making of my first canvas piece of 2008. The piece entitled "Power Trip" was painted for the LA Weekly Annual Biennial show "Some Paintings" up at Track 16 through mid-February.

Just a little something I had in mind.

The Univision tv show, "Despierta America" interviewed me down at the site of the LA Meeting of Styles murals down at the Arroyo Seco. They wanted to know what all the fuss is about and why the county wants these murals removed.

The piece airs Friday Jan.18 (tomorrow) sometime between 7-10am.
Should be a fun and informative segment.

I'll post the segment when I get a copy...
